Why is there no year on it?

Deliberately - birthdays repeat, so a year would only make the sheet expire. Fill it in once and it keeps working.

How many birthdays fit per month?

Five lines each, sixty in total. If one month runs over, use the line spacing to squeeze two names or print a second copy.
